Free Breakfast and a little hot tub!…ĭear Cassie, thank you for sharing your experience with us, and we are truly sorry for the disappointing encounter with our front desk staff during your trip to Monterey. No pool but nice clean rooms within walking distance to downtown and bikes to rent to get all over. The staff there is amazing, the rooms are actually cheaper and in a better location. I suggest you all skip this place and head down to the Pacific Inn. I suggest the owner of this hotel pulls the tape on this. She really went off and she cancelled our reservation per our request right then and there. We let her know we too were tired but that's not a reason to be rude to each other. We asked if she was having a bad day and she stated her day just started and all she does is work around the clock and come in to find that nobody at the hotel does their job and it all falls on her. The rudeness that came from this woman was beyond. We cam back at 3:50 to find a new host at the desk. No early check in, that was fine but the rudeness was a surprise. The front desk gal was incredibly rude and not willing to check on the rooms as she said the cleaning crew doesn't update until all rooms are clean. We took a super early flight and we were hoping to check in early to catch a nap (around 2pm). My girls and I booked this hotel as it looked clean and welcoming.
